"That was just a physical thing. We're just friends now, and you're Pansy's vet. That's all we are to each other. I'm going in before the preacher gets here." Rachel stepped cautiously around the runner this time and disappeared inside before Heath could comment further.
In her room ten minutes later, Rachel's heart rate still hadn't returned to normal. There could never be any further doubts about the sexual flames still burning brightly between her and Heath.
