Once upon a wintry evening she made a wish on Christmas snow…
Reagan Thorton never expected her wish to come true, even when Jack Frost appears on her doorstep. She doesn’t believe such nonsense or in happy endings, not since her husband died and she was left to raise two children. Reagan assumes Jack answered her ad for a handyman.
Jack has until Christmas Eve to make her rediscover happiness in life and joy in the holiday season. Reagan feels emotions she hasn’t felt since her husband died. She soon realizes she’s falling in love, but she can’t tell him because she’s afraid of opening up her heart. Jack returns her feelings, yet knows that once Christmas Eve arrives he’ll vanish forever in a swirl of snow. Or will he? After all, he has become the reason for her happiness.

She wondered who could be stopping by for a visit at such an early hour. She wasn't expecting anyone and not even her mother came over without warning her first.
"I'm coming," she called as she walked down the carpeted hallway barefoot. She was about to open the door but suddenly stopped, her hand upon the brass doorknob. She had no idea who was standing on the other side. It was rare for bad things to happen in the Minnesota countryside, but one could never be too cautious. "Who is it?" she asked loudly into the thin crack between the door and the frame.
"My name is Jack ... Jack Frost," a deep, throaty voice replied from the other side of the door.
"Jack Frost?" she questioned. "I don't know any Jack Frost."
Rumbling, warm laughter vibrated the door. "It's impossible for you to know me. We've never met before."
"Then what are you doing standing on my front porch?"
"I believe only you can answer that," he told her with a voice that was thick and warm and sexy.
For some unknown reason, she twisted the knob and flung open the door to a complete stranger. She found herself staring at a tall, handsome man about her age with bright blue eyes, wavy blond hair and a smile so exquisite it took Reagan's breath away. He was dressed casually in jeans and a thick wool blue sweater that brought out the extraordinary blue of his eyes. There was nothing sinister about the man who stood before her.
Mr. Jack Frost was gorgeous. Honesty, kindness and soft warmth glimmered from the depths of his sapphire eyes. She was startled to feel a wonderful heat flowing inside her, something she hadn't felt for a very long time.
